For 60 years this place has been the Main Focus for musicianship in Southern CT.
It started in the mid 60s when Goldies music shops merged with Libros music store and opened its doors on Chapel street. As a young teenager I assisted in the merger, helped both places move in and set up their Drum Kit Display in one of their large display windows.Spent many years three helping clients with Drum Kit purchases and Drum needs while still actively playing. Great place , even now.

Knowledgeable staff that have gone above and beyond to help us each time we've been there. Very reasonable prices. Quick service for adjustments and repairs. Complimentary tips (with purchase of an instrument in our case) for school-age children on how to handle and care for their instrument(s).
Andrew overhauled my A Robert oboe. The man is a genius, and takes painstaking care to make the resulting cleaned, rehabbed mechanism work better than new. Knowledgeable and precise, Andrew proved it was not necessary to send my baby to Tennessee. If your oboe has a problem, run, don’t walk to Goldie and Libro, best oboe mechanic in the North East.
