“Had a hill excavated to be lowered. Minimal communication and on the day they came, there was no communication. The hill was not excavated fully to my satisfaction. They came back and had me verified after it was done and it was perfect this time!One suggestion is to please stay in communication. Especially with excavation work, I think it's required to have the owner verify the work at the time of the excavation so it's done once and get it over with. Overall, it was a miscommunication between both parties and I'm glad we were able to get on the same level of communication in the end. I would have gladly paid more if they were required to stay longer to get the job done to my specification.“

“I am a perennial gardener in East Haven near the Long Island Sound. I moved to a small house here from Cheshire after my wife passed away. I have always been a perennial and flowering shrub and tree gardener. Because I bought a small house I decided not to use sod or grass. Instead I created garden spaces with perennials and flowering shrubs and flowering trees. The garden spaces are surrounded with mulch which help to keep the roots moist. When I lived in Cheshire I had a beautiful koi pond with a waterfall to give it a beautiful sound. But here in East Haven if I installed a koi pond, the sea birds would eat them all! Instead, I had Rob Dietter of North Haven put in a stream with a waterfall that I can hear when I sit on my rear deck, but no fish. The Briones brothers (Joey and Laurent) are meticulous when they weed and when they mulch my yard. When they are finished, they leave no trash. I recommend them highly and will continue to use them annually.“

“Woody removed 5 stumps for us at a very reasonable price.Stump removal was only part of the job since the finalproduct included the removal of all wood chips, plus coveringand seeding over the stump holes. Woody did a superb job!“

“The Greenscaping Company uses an organic product that is safe for humans and pets that kills and keeps ticks off my property. I have used them since purchasing this property that was loaded with Lyme disease ticks. They promptly come out every spring and thoroughly spray my yard. I can enjoy my yard with no more ticks even though we still have a population of deer in our area. They touch base with me in the summer and fall to see if the property needs additional treatment. I highly recommend them.“

“We signed a contact for organic lawn care with no restrictions for children and pets and on the first application a sign was posted restricting children’s and pets. In all fairness I hoped it was an honest mistake of posting the warning sign so I called and left a voice message and emailed the manager Jason. It’s been 8 hours and no one has replied to clarify. 15 families use this lawn and I am very disappointed I can’t get a response.The manager called me first thing Monday morning and confirmed organic fertilizer was used but the technician ran out of the organic fertilizer sign and it won’t happen again.“
