How many of us have "always wanted to" ? Since I was a young boy I desired to study Karate, but something always got in the way. Living in downtown we are SO FORTUNATE to have Sensei Andy and the Dojo. I was very nervous to start as an almost 40 year old beginner. Sensei Andy offered me a private first session to familiarize myself with all things Karate and I recommend the same to any beginner. Goju Ryu is a beautiful martial art passed down from the Okinawans and from the research and understanding I continue to build, Chuck Merrimans Dojo here in Niantic is an outpost of that art!
