I live in the United Kingdom but am originally from Newington. This past summer when I was visiting home with my sons, I asked friends if anyone knew a stylist who could do a perm for a boy. If you have a teenage son you know that curly mops are in at the moment and my then 16 yo son with poker straight hair had been asking for a perm for a year. We had called around to salons in our local area in the UK but no one did perms anymore let alone men's perms. So when I arrived in CT, I asked friends and one of my particularly 'in the know' friends, got Tammy's name.

Tammy was AMAZING. From the initial contact and finding a time to squeeze us in relatively last minute, to being thoughtful, kind, and explaining the process to my son down to the science of it (he was curious), to a very reasonable rate--we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I told Tammy she should consider relocating to London as I know she'd make a killing on boy perms! :)

This is a niche market and hard to find someone who offers this service--I had been looking for a year! I hope this review helps other moms find Tammy and her amazing service.“
