Nick helped us pick out granite for our fireplace and quartz for our bathroom. I wish we had known about Pioneer when we did our kitchen countertops as they’re much easier to work with and have better quality products! Incredible creative space for artists & hair enthusiasts. I attended an event at AngryHair and was blown away by the design and concept of the space. Owner Dave has put his unique spin on the idea of a living space where artists can preform and perform work, all while a client gets their highlights done! The 420 party I attended had the best vibe ever, people chilling, dancing, smoking, working. It was such a vibe, one of the best times ever.

Tami Le is amazing at the DevaCurl cut! I donated 8" of hair a few months ago and now I love having short, curly hair. She knows what she's doing to provide these kind of results with my thick, difficult hair! She educates you on how to care for your hair and the products she carries but in no way pressures you to buy anything. As someone who used to be ok with getting trims at those cheap chain places, I now won't go anywhere else. In addition to Tami Le's lovely personality, the ambiance is relaxing and rustic, you'd never know the turnpike was out there, but it makes it easy to get to! I called this Hair Salon by mistake because their name is similar to the tanning salon that I frequent. It was early in the morning (hadn't had my coffee yet) so I left a voice mail inquiring about a tanning appointment later that day. Minutes later, Mojo called me back to inform me that they are a Hair Salon and not the Tanning Salon. We both laughed it off and engaged in a minute conversation. Such a great place… Convenient quick and I get a better haircut here for $25 than I do at a salon that charges $75. The stylist I had was Judith and she was fantastic. She listened to how I wanted it cut and gave some great suggestions on her own. In addition, she didn’t talk my ear off or make uncomfortable small talk like most stylist do. I've been using this barber shop for years. Always a clean and relaxing environment. I leave with a great cut and wonderful conversation with the barber. He's always able to set an appointment for me. Sometimes on very short notice. I'm a very satisfied customer.
Heath is a very solid barber and does a great job. Traditional style cuts, doesn't rush through your haircut and ensures you are satisfied. A lot of barbers out there spend all their time "fading" and don't spend much time with scissors and don't know how to use scissors. Heath does traditional tapers and fades but also knows how to use scissors very well.
They are an absolute dream team! Both pedicure and manicure came out excellent. Worth every penny ??Cleanliness: They are clean and are always wiping down!
I was looking for a quick and cheap gel manicure near me - this place is fantastic and the prices are great. Tina was so sweet and very welcoming, and she had so many options to choose from. My nails look great and I will 100% be back soon! Also - she was very gentile with my nails and even suggested a biotin supplement. I appreciate that, as some artists I've had in the past elsewhere have been harsh on my nails. 10/10! I'm so relieved to have found a great, cheap spot nearby!

I came with my MIL to get our nails done for her birthday weekend. I have been to Cozy nails multiple times and it was my MILs first time. I have always had a very pleasant experience, my MIL loved how her nails came out and how kind her nail tech was! Our nails came out beautifully and prices are reasonable! My eyebrows have never looked so good in my life and I have been doing threading for a long time. I have nice eyebrows as it is, but they just got it on point. Most of the time I can just walk in not too much of a wait. The location looks cleanly. I pretty much used every person and they all do a great job.
I was wholly impressed with their customer service. I got my hair done twice until I was satisfied, and they charged me for only one time. The owner is a lovely and kind lady. I will visit again.

I can not rave enough about Modern Edge Salon in Newington. They took me in after I did a stupid act of trying to highlight my hair. Without an appointment , even though they were fully booked, and I was a new Customer. Julie and Christina took me in and together worked in between their other services. My hair looks amazing, and trust me it was a hot mess when I walked in.

We contacted several contractors who claimed to specialize in finishing basements however Quality Built Basements seem to stand out amongst the crowd. Bill was amazing from start to finish. He took time to educate us as to why things were being done a certain way and gave us progress updates along the way. When something unexpected caused a delay, he immediately contacted us telling us why. In addition to communicating the aspects and progress of the project, we found Bill and his staff to be extremely neat and professional. Often you could not tell that major work had been done as his crew did such a great job cleaning up at days end. The finished product is simply amazing. It is hard to believe that an unusable space was transformed into such a functional and inviting room...having far exceeded our expectations. We would use Bill and Quality Built Basements again and recommend him to everyone we know.

We hired Rocco to do a big job on our back yard. This included putting in a retaining wall, regrading of the yard / topsoil, fixing pavers and patio slate, and putting in sod. He and his company did an excellent job with everything. Rocco himself was responsive to calls and questions, checked up on us as needed and finished the job in a very timely fashion. We have now hired Rocco's to do our regular lawn maintenance for fertilizing, etc. We highly recommend Rocco's Landscaping!

My understanding is they do many different job types but specialize in siding and roofing. The previous owner of my home had siding put over the old wood shingle and it left a huge gap between the siding and foundation going all the way around. So I had A LOT OF MICE that learned to enter the home by burrowing under the siding. I called Yargueta and they made me custom color matched trim on site that fit better than a glove to seal the gaps going around the house. It makes the siding look a bit cleaner AND they corrected some issues left by the previous installer for me. They showed up as promised, very responsive, and completed the job to my satisfaction. Additionally, I felt that Yony/Tony is a very good man, he was super friendly, a pleasure to talk to, and professional-- he just radiates genuine positive energy all around. Thank you Yargueta!

We wanted to solve the problem of water in our basement and re-do our backyard and pool deck. Mac took on a large and complex backyard project with many moving parts and stayed within budget.
The drainage solution he offered was truly sensational and a basement that was getting water frequently has been bone dry through two "once in a lifetime" storms.
For the backyard and pool deck he guided us and really his vision produced a phenomenal looking final product.
Predictably through the process of digging and re-grading Mac uncovered issues with work that had been done by others
throughout the years, these were addressed and in the case of our propane line upgraded at no cost to us.
Mac was responsive and available throughout. Timelines were more fluid than I'd have liked but again I will use him again in the future. The dedication to producing excellent work is truly top notch.

Lazer Scapes Tree Service came in after another tree service tried to rip me off. They came out the same day I called and gave me a very fair estimate for cutting down 3 huge trees wedged between my fence and shed. They were extremely careful not to damage either. They were prompt and courteous. The clean up was excellent. You could not tell they had been there except for the missing trees. I would highly recommend Lazer Scapes for any of their services. Dear Fox Memorial Clinic, On 9/11/24 we had to put our very old and sick cat to sleep. I recently came into extremely difficult time financially. Our cat Harley really was going to die and suffer even if I had money to help him. The vet and assistant made this process so loving. We stayed in the room with Harley when he took his last breath.
It was so sad however they didn't rush us grieve and made the difficult time a little easier. I want to thank you from Monique Vanzuilen and Mike Kula.Please donate bc they are great people! For Xmas I will hopefully have a job and will be a donor..

Love the facials here! I have acne, and this place is getting my face back on track. I can already see a big difference, and this is only my 3rd session!
I've been there twice. Both times were excellent. It's been quite awhile since last visit. Especially not since new name.

Beautiful facility. I loved the yoga class there -- Cynthia and Stephanie were so welcoming and Cynthia is so tuned in when she lead yoga! And it was easy to find in Newington Center. Surprisingly spacious!
my son's had a great experience at Pat's driving school! I feel that they're safe drivers.
