Yesterday my wife and i were referred to NMH by urgent care in Southbury. Norma received two sutures at urgent care following a sidewalk fall in Norwalk. Dr Chrissie Roberts at Physician One Urgent Care prescribed a precautionary CT scan at NMH and called ahead for the ER to expect us. PA Ben, Nurse Nina, and Radiologist Mary provided first class professional care beyond our expectations. We arrived ER at 6pm and were discharged at 8:15pm. I was even able to grab a sandwich in the closed cafeteria with an easy honor system for payment... good grilled chicken wrap sandwich, too! Each time I go here they always rule out everything isn’t a problem. It’s like they pick who actually has a real illness or someone they think doesn’t. Overall not bad place to go but to many guessing games. The ER department is same way. Why not look into problem first before writing it off.
