Sam is very friendly and takes the time to discuss exactly how you want your hair to look. It was a very pleasant experience overall and my haircut came out perfect. I will definitely be coming back!

I have very thick, curly hair and for years I have struggled with finding someone who knows how to cut my hair correctly. I usually hate all my haircuts and wear my hair up all the time. My hair is always so heavy and hot- always in my face- ugh it's been a challenge my whole life. I have pointed to pictures in styling books for decades and listened to stylists tell me again and again "you can never have that hairstyle with your hair". I was about to actually go to a very, very expensive salon in NYC where they exclusively cut curly hair until I saw their prices and considered the inconvenience factor. My mother gets her haircut at Lotus and encouraged me to give it a try. Well, let me just say...I could not have made a better decision. Sam took the time to listen to my concerns and what I wanted. She showed me some pictures and I picked out something I liked. She cut and styled my hair and blew it out straight per my request. She was very sweet and professional. I couldn't truly tell how awesome the haircut was until I washed it the next day. I washed it, put in product, and let it air dry. When I saw the results I actually almost cried. I couldn't stop smiling- I was beaming. Even my fiancé commented on how bouncy and great my hair looked. Now I wear my hair down every day and just LOVE the way it looks and feels. I actually look forward to styling my hair now rather than dreading it. I feel proud to be a curly girl. Thank you, Sam! I am customer for life!
