Stayed here for my child’s visit to Yale. The convenience of walking to and sound Yale was great. However the area was severely lacking. Here during summer, don’t know if it brings the crazies and homeless out more with less students around? But once you step out of the hotel the area is awful.
Front desk was a mix, depending on the day, who it was and their mood. None of them overly kind or polite, but some more pleasant than others.
The bed was comfortable. Rooms are small . Very dated, but kept up
Fitness room is nice.

Outdated hotel rooms, need some renovations. Low quality pillows and bed could be more comfortable. Sadly, for an Omni hotel, this location was the least favorite in terms of quality and comfort of rooms. If you're staying here, you're most likely doing it for the location right downtown, and near Yale University. This hotel has a bit of a rundown vide about it, not completely different from the town. It's clean, sort of. It's convenient, sort of. It's a short step up from a Holiday Inn Express, and the surrounding area can be a bit marginal. Bottom line, stay here only if location is of utmost importance. Otherwise, pay more for better options or look further out. Our view out over the town green and toward Yale was pretty nice.
Rooms: Rooms are clean but small and old. Bathrooms are old. Rooms need a serious renovation.
