Roxie is a total talent and a delight! She approached my haircut so thoughtfully and collaboratively, and the result was a stunner. She's also just a really lovely person with vast pop culture knowledge and great recommendations. Great experience all around!

My stylist (Maurizio) recently moved to Michelle's from another popular New Haven salon, so I followed him. Obviously I think he's great (would recommend him to anyone looking for a natural talent for being a stylist with great conversation to boot), but I have to say that the venue is beautiful. So much space, excellent lighting, great art, doesn't make you feel claustrophobic like some other places. Highly recommended!

I love getting my hair done here. Roxie does always does an amazing job with fashion colors (even pastel color) in my naturally black hair & my cutting my hair. She's dyed it many times to make my hair pink with a color melt at the root. The color melt is essential so that when my hair grows out it blends in & looks intentional. Also, Roxie's reasonable prices & flexible hours make the color upkeep easy.
