“From the business: 11 years and never a bad review. The below review is extreme, petty and misleading. I reached out personally to Dennis Adams and shared the fact that an employee of his company contacted our firm 1/14/14 for help. She stated her needs as she understood them and that they had used another firm but admired our portfolio more. Makes sense, we are a world class firm. She also stated her budget was "under $50,000" which was a question we asked via a drop-down menu. It was the lowest a prospect could say they had for a budget while contacting us. My colleague professionally and thorough responded in under 48 hours at 2am. Excellent response time. An excerpt: "It is extremely difficult to prepare any proposal without a better understanding of your needs, timeline and a definite budget. I've prepared a list of questions that will help me further understand your true needs and determine whether we are the best fit to work with you. If you could please take a few minutes to respond to these I would like to have a follow-up call before committing resources to developing a holistic proposal for you." Her response 4 days later "i've decided to use another service" Now what is critical here is the fact that he said " we need to determine whether we are the best fit to work with you" After her short response it was clear we were not. They went with a different small mom and pop firm. Several months later Dennis reaches out himself for another project and was met with as much time as my colleague was afforded after taking the time at 2am to respond to Katie. Part of the reason was that the previous project that Katie was inquiring about was not launched and showed that things were not ready to move forward. Additionally, why should he? Time is money and my colleague had already determined that they were not a fit and that they had wasted his time. That the company had champagne taste and a beer pocket which is further evident when you see the work that they paid for and launched. Additionally, the 2nd project he contacted us about still has not launched 2+ years since his review where Dennis throws his big-budget around (joking about big). We are a premium service provider and turn down accept and reject projects of all sizes and shaped companies from local startups to fortune 50. Take a look at our portfolio. We are not McDonalds. We are not a value meal. We do not have to sell or provide our services to anyone unless we want to. What kills me worse is the fact that after I emailed Dennis to smooth things over he stated he was "extreme" and gave us one star because he "wanted to get our attention." He claimed/assumed that my colleague's response was templated and that other firms had asked similar templated questions. That proves that Katie didn't give enough information in her requests. No real firms could form an opinion about their business or Business needs. Additionally, he said that some firms had immediately replied with a quote...ha! that doesn't sound desperate. Does the above really warrant such a review? One star? A review at all? I could understand if we took his business and didn't deliver. This guy never made it to the table. He also has no picture and one review ever - toward us. This was targeted. Maybe to help his preferred vendor. Maybe he's just a sad, angry man and we enraged him when we gently pushed Katie back with qualifying questions or didn't respond to him for lack of interest of working on his business. That deserves this type of vindictive nonsense? Sites like Yelp are great until people think they can jump on them angry looking to be "extreme" while bullying people and companies. I stand by my team. Give me the chance again and I wouldn't take his business. I am the former CEO and founder. I can't believe yelp even let his review go live. Make your own decision.“
