I’ve been taking my father weekly for Medical Massages with June as he’s currently in hospice and really enjoys the massages. June is so patient with him always looking for ways to accommodate where he is physically, with pillows, table height etc. June is always patient with him, and allows him to be who he is at what capacity he can handle. Last week I also got a facial with Gene- if you have pesky black heads prepare for some discomfort but it’s well worth it Gene will get everything out for you I’ve never left a facial before thinking oh my goodness I don’t have a single blackhead- usually they are left behind. She is wonderful. I also loved that she wasn’t pushing products on me after the service which is something that I feel has happened at many other spas- but she was willing to discuss what I could use rather then insisting on a variety of products. Finally, Marissa who always greets you as you come in, she is friendly, personable and just a wonderful person to be around. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Elm City Wellness. The vibe and atmosphere in the waiting area is wonderful and it’s lovely to look at all the wellness items they have to offer as well.
My husband and I wanted to find a class that actually teaches you massage techniques (rather than just getting a massage). He found the class at Elm City Wellness. We went today and it was amazing! Cheryl was our instructor. She was knowledgeable, fun, and actually interested in what we wanted to learn/know. This is a unique opportunity that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Highly recommend!
