Had the genuinely special experience of getting my daughter's first glasses with Manny an Carofano Optician's in New Haven. With her only a toddler with a new scary diagnosis, Manny was so kind and thoughtful answering our questions prior to meeting, setting up an convenient appointment, working with my (shy) daughter to find a style she liked, and getting the glasses in promptly. The who ordering and fitting process was so efficient and warm. He even answered questions (from another country!) and help set up for replacement lenses when they inevitably got scratched. One of the best customer/patient experiences I have ever had

My dad used to work here and he would bring me to work sometimes when I was just a few years old. I used to put all the glasses on at the same time and I liked playing with the super close up side of the mirror and one time I hiked up the little mountain out back and found a gun. I think I just left it there. Anyway I was just wondering if the place was still in business. Hello to the owner. Sorry I forgot your name. God bless

I bought new glasses from Carofano Opticians about a year ago. They had the best frames on offer out of any place in New Haven - the perfect blend of stylish and smart. Manny was excellent. He is super friendly, responsive over email, and was patient with me as we adjusted my glasses to fit perfectly. My frames accidentally broke a few months ago, and Carofano Opticians replaced them for free because of the year warranty. I wasn't in New Haven at the time so Manny even shipped the new pair over to my current address. I couldn't recommend Carofano Opticians any more, and I will certainly be coming here for any new glasses in the future.
