AIMA has Old school flair, with a family type atmosphere.

This place is great to learn self control discipline and most of all confidence. I have a disability with my legs that in the near future may cripple me for life since I've became a student I've noticed a bit more balance and my self-esteem has boosted up a notch. Each one teach one is the idea but brotherhood is a must everyone is equal and learns on there own pace Sensei has my respect and admiration.

I love this place! There is so much that is right with this dojo. The reverence, the generosity, the spirit of the place and the overall discipline and devotion of the students is notable. As is the deep goodness and mastery of Sensei Jim. Wow is mostly what I have to say.My body is stronger, my confidence is better, my joy and relaxation is palpable when I leave a practice session. With so many thanks to those who have been dedicated to making this dojo what it is over the years.Great to find a 'home' such as this to work out the stuff of life! With love and respect, Lynnea
