Izzy offered invaluable advice for those with sensitive scalps or dermatitis from relaxers, and he even showed me how to maintain my hair so my curls would look amazing even on day 6. I could not have had a better experience with Megan at Effortless Beauty. The salon was gorgeous and very clean. Prep time was quick. Megan and her instructor Miranda together mapped out my eyebrows and made sure I was happy with the plan before they started. Megan had such a light hand during the entire process. They kept asking me if I needed numbing cream but I didn't even need it! After she was finished she showed me in the mirror. I was so happy with the immediate results!!! My eyebrows are freaking perfect!!! She gave me this cute little after care bag with everything I need to take care of my eyebrows at home! Today is day 3 since I had my brows done. I am in no pain. They warned me my eyebrows may scab as they heal yadda yadda. These bad boys aren't even scabbing over. They are healing great! I received so many compliments at work yesterday!! Pro Style was part of a commercial ad for WTNH( Keith Kountz) and I decided to give it a try. My first visit and I felt comfortable with Octavious to give me a sassy haircut!! He listened to what I wanted , requested a pic of what I wanted( if I had one) and showed me the look as he was completing the steps of the cut. I am beyond pleased with the professionalism, the skill for detail and pleasant personality of this owner. I will be returning and I highly recommend this shop.

I’ve booked for a mini facial, classic lash set, and have also done microblading with her which all turned out amazing. First off the facial was so relaxing and her voice is so soothing I just fell asleep? … for the microblading it didn’t take too long, she uses numbing cream and will use as many passes as u need. My brows are shaped perfect and should last a long time with proper care!!!
First time getting a tattoo here and I couldn't have more positive things to say. I got 2 pieces done on my forearms by Scott, and they are exactly what I wanted. Had a little bit of a health scare mid tattoo and Scott couldn't be more accommodating. The vibe made me feel very relaxed, will definitely be coming back!

Requested style: I requested a sleeve based on the magic the gathering card game, so it was a blend of art from the game with Adam's creativity. I guess you could call it new school but it was less cartoony and more illustrative.
Specialties: Adam's color work is incredible and he can manage large pieces while prioritizing overall aesthetic and cohesion. You can't go wrong with any project but know you can trust Adam and Hope Gallery with your larger designs and ambitions.
Cleanliness: He was meticulously clean, I never felt any concern as to safety or cleanliness. I always healed really well and was able to operate normally the entire process.
Stylist: Adam not only listened to my requests, he created incredible works of art from very basic reference material. He really brought my sleeve to life!

I’ve been going to Fred since 2019 when I was first referred to him by a friend. I came to him with a messed up tattoo hopping he could fix it. He was able to fix my tattoo for a good price considering what he was working with. It’s been five years now and Fred has completed a 1/2 sleeve on me and just completed my second coverup on my back. I’m so happy with the results of his work
Will and Mac were awesome. My sump pump died and they were able to show up by 9am the next morning. Call ahead, arrived on time - tried to fix it and when they couldn’t because of how it broke they were able to replace it within an hour. SO happy to have met them and I now have a new plumber!
I had a gas furnace installed seven years ago by Cordone and Tonucci and it worked perfectly (without needing servicing) until yesterday afternoon (a Saturday) when it failed. I called C and T and received a call back within 15 minutes. Within an hour, Rich came and solved the problem, replacing a thermocouple (apparently they do wear out), and I have heat again. The emergency service was prompt, successful and performed by a charming young man. I can recommend C and T 100% because service like theirs is exceptional.

They did a great job with a fairly complicated situation. We had water coming down through the basement ceiling and the source was not clear. Thomas traced it to the drain from an upstairs shower and made the fix. But we had water damage and moisture issues from water coming down between the walls, so we needed the water mitigation team to come in and see what needed to be done to make sure we didn’t get mold. Ended up having to take out the wall and ceiling from a downstairs bathroom and then had to do a bunch of drying using industrial strength fans and dehumidifiers. It was a big process, but they were professional and prompt every step of the way. Knowing Tim was in charge and on top of everything helped reduce the stress considerably. He was always ready to go the extra mile to make sure everything got done.

I have been in the medical field for around 20 years as an EMT/Paramedic and never thought much of chiropractic medicine until I was at a standstill with my back, neck and chronic headaches. I saw many practitioners from several different medical specialties and had more medications thrown at me than one can imagine, as well as surgery suggested more than once. I figured it was time to give chiropractic medicine a go as I was out of options. I wish I hadn't been so narrow minded and wish I had found Dr. Katey sooner! I haven't had a headache in weeks, I can walk and move so much better and haven't had to take any pain medications or muscle relaxers since Dr. Katey started treating me. Just like any medical profession there are good practitioners and bad ones who ruin it for the rest. Dr. Katey is so far beyond excellent in my opinion and is clearly passionate about her profession. Sarah, Dr. Katey's office manager is pretty awesome too and both are super friendly. Don't hesitate... your search has ended... call her!

This veterinary center is fairly expensive - but it is New Haven after all. Decent service and helpful staff.

This studio has been around for 20 years for a reason: it's a fantastic place to practice original Bikram yoga.The studio is clean and welcoming. I've been practicing for 12 years, and the yoga speaks for itself. The yoga room here is kept at the perfect temperature/humidity for a challenging yet beginner-friendly practice and classes are led by experienced teachers. I especially loved the class taught by Robin, the studio owner of 18 years. The space is also equipped with private changing areas and showers. I even rehydrated after class with a freshly pressed juice.The studio itself is in the basement of the building, but there are plenty of signs to direct you once you're buzzed in the entrance.I'm so happy this community exists here in New Haven, and I can't wait to come back!

If you want an excellent therapeutic, mindful and client focused massage in a tranquil and serene setting The Well is the sanctuary for you. I highly recommend Julie Robbins for a 90 minute massage. She paid attention to the areas that I told her about and intuitively attended to areas that needed extra attention. I felt 100% better after her treatment. The nicely appointed place has a very nice waiting area and comfortable massage rooms. The Well is tucked away in a quiet area with lots of easy parking. Yes, it's focus is for women during the week, men and women are welcome on the weekends. Might be nice for a his/hers massage.

OMG ! What a gem of a business this is . I was given a gift certificate to try and now I am addicted . Been getting facials done and going to try other services ! Friendly , clean , natural products and wonderful inviting atmosphere. Laura is amazing ! So glad I found this place !
