“I have used the service for almost a year, the same cleaner. She does a pretty good job. One issue is language communication. I am not always certain that she understands what I am saying. Our routine is that there is the 'basic' usual cleaning and then I have written down extra things to do if there is extra time and there is always. I go over each written item and then show her where and what needs to be done. For example, remove contents of one kitchen shelf, clean shelf, return items to shelf or clean indoor windows in living room and/or dining room.

Secondly, although trying to be helpful, my cleaner "repaired" something that wasn't working but she really didn't Of importance, is that she did not ask if I wanted her to do it. We had to undo what she did.

Lastly, time of arrival. Since start of service she arrived about 1/2 hour after the time I was told she "should" arrive. I know they ask for a window of time for arrival since traffic can delay. No problem. Her time of arrival was always about 1/2 hour of original time I was told to expect her. She always put in the three hours being paid for from whatever time she arrived. Recently she arrived one hour after that time with no explanation call from her or the office. I had called the office after 45 minutes past standard arrival time concerned that something terrible had happened to her or her family. No.

Are these details to ignore or to require a change to another cleaner? Is it better to keep the "known" then ask for the "unknown"? I prefer to continue with her.
Talk to management? Don't want to get cleaner "in trouble."
Talk to cleaner? Perhaps best but does she really not understand or is she pretending to not understand? Think I will try this last option at next visit. because she is amiable and does a pretty good job.“
