They truly care and help. I didn't get the same out of another place in the area. The young lady doctor is a dog person and understands. The staff is attentive, timely, and professional.
A loving, kind, and caring practice! I came to Companion at the recommendation of a friend who is a vet tech in the area. As a brand new client, they were accommodating in getting us in quickly, providing expert care for both of my cats (one of whom was recently seen in ER and diagnosed with chronic illness). The front desk workers are incredibly pleasant and knew my cat by name at her second visit. It is apparent that all staff members care deeply about animals. Companion provides exceptional care at an affordable price (significantly less expensive for a routine exam compared to my previous vet). I feel they are truly invested in my pets' health, and not looking to upcharge or suggest unnecessary add-ons. They are easy to contact, have good availability when booking appointments, and follow up immediately with test results. The vet techs are extremely kind and attentive, and Dr. Preli is exceptionally knowledgable and approachable when answering any questions/concerns. I cannot recommend Companion enough- never have I felt so "at ease" when taking care of my babies, I simply trust this office.
I've had good experiences with Companion with both drs. Scheduling can be difficult because it is a family operation but I've found the front staff and the techs to be helpful and kind. The doctors both seem well educated and I did not find them making unreasonable recommendations as others have suggested. My only concern is what someone else mentioned, aggressive breed dogs are allowed to be in the waiting area which can be scary for pets and pet owners alike. I realize that many "aggressive breed" dogs are fine, but nonetheless it is stressful. I have recommended Companion to others and they too have had mostly positive experiences. I think the people complaining about price don't understand that proper pet care is expensive, end of story. Trying going to a VCA vet if you want to see what truly expensive looks like.
