Mila was amazing from start to finish! I purchased my wedding dress from The Persnickety Bride. Mila has such amazing attention to detail and made me feel comfortable each fitting. She has a consultation when you bring your wedding dress the first time and tells you what needs to be done. She has a great personality and takes the time to work with you! Wish I could give 10 stars; bathroom remodel was on time and budget; quality of the work is awesome; despite a personal setback I experienced mid-remodel John continued the project at times even supervising our dog(!) in order to have it complete and perfect; my bathroom is my new 'happy place'!

The owner of NortheastHorticultural gave us a reasonable price quote and we agreed to get the works done. On the day we schedule the work, three guys came to the my house . Ramon, Junior, and Nigel did a great job on both cutting and trimming. They did an excellent job on cleaning up, and we appreciate their professional service. Highly recommended!

This was my first time at Fresh Hair Studio in Milford, CT. As soon as you walk in, you can immediately feel how it's such a comfortable, clean, relaxing and professional place and it was also surrounded by many beautiful calming plants :) Stylist, Debbie, took care of me and was very professional and friendly and took the time to discuss what I wanted and gave me an amazing haircut as well as an amazing scalp massage. Also, the AVEDA products that they use are amazing & smell amazing! The best haircut experience ever! Definitely will be returning! Thank you! ?

Paulina was the best! I had a wedding and I was tired of my color, I wanted to look different so I booked an appointment with Paulina. When I got there she was very honest with me about my hair (it was a lot of color going on already in it) so she gave me her professional advice that I took and it was the best decision I made. Actually after I got my hair done with her, I’ve received a lot of compliments about how beautiful my hair color is! Paulina saved my hair color! She’s also very nice and polite! Marc and his assistant provided on location hair services for my wedding in April 2024. Everyone's hair looked amazing and Marc and his assistant made the morning so much fun. He was very accommodating when my 10 year old niece also wanted to get her hair done by them on the day of the wedding. They were patient and helped make some suggestions when my niece realized she had no idea how she wanted her hair styled. My family and I have been going to his salon for years for haircuts, updos, and coloring. Marc and his assistant had the updo system down to a science with one person getting their hair curled while Marc worked his magic to create beautiful updos. You would never be able to tell that I have very thin hair and had extensions in. He recommended a fiber spray to help make my hair appear fuller and it came out better than I could have ever imagined. Everyone's hair stayed in place for HOURS through the end of the reception with no touch ups or additional hair spray needed.

You will be treated like you are their favorite customer every time you go. I am not someone who writes reviews but these folks deserve it. Please give them a chance.
I have been a customer for over 20 years since they were in the Ct. mall. I had been searching for a long time before that and had been disappointed every place I went. Finding them in the mall was pure coincidence and luck.
From the very first visit, I knew I was going to keep coming back. They are incredible. They make you feel at home while maintaining their professionalism. I won't be taking my toddler anywhere else to get his hair cut. Josh cut my son's hair (he is almost 2), and he was so patient and engaging with him. He showed him each device he was going to use and let my son get familiar with it so he wouldn't be afraid. He gave him fruit snacks and a toy to play with to keep him distracted. His hair looks so much better than it did when I was taking him to another local place. Highly, highly recommend!

Rocky's has been my go-to barbershop for the last year that I've lived in Milford. Their very friendly staff and exceptional service has been consistent throughout all my visits. They give a killer male haircut that I've sported at special events or during your average week. The majority of their business appears to be adult males but I've seen plenty of young children enjoying a haircut at Rocky's. I would recommend!

I have had a gel manicure here and every time I am also so impressed. I like my nails absurdly short and the woman doing my nails made no comment and actually cut them for me! I appreciated that so much. Great color choices. Very clean. Walk ins welcome!
The only thing I wish they did is soak my hands in warm water before doing my cuticles. I feel like they come out better when they’re soaked but I have not found a nail salon in the area that does that. (Just moved here last summer)
My toes haven't felt this loved since I was a new born! Best pedi I've had in years (my feet have lots of hard spots from work, life, kids, gardening, etc… they need tough love). Becky and Max are AWESOME! I have been seeing them regularly since December and I will never go back to another salon. They don't use drills, which usually damages my nails, and their prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend making an appointment, they book quick because it's just the two of them working. Friendly service and even better nails!

Lisa is the best! I found this place when I first moved to Milford back in September and I was prepared to have to trial and error many nail salons before finding a favorite. I never had to give another one a try because I have had nothing but great experiences everytime I come here. My gel manicure stays on for 3 weeks without chipping which is wonderful and they always fit me in even without an appointment. Definitely recommend nail garden! Only thing is that I wish I got a free back massage everytime.

I have had the honor of knowing Dom for several years now and as of the past year, the privilege of working for her. Yesterday, was my wedding day and naturally she was my first choice for hair and makeup. While I always knew how talented Dom, Annie and Sophia were, being on the other side was an entirely new experience! I was a nervous wreck and they did everything in their power to help me enjoy every aspect. I truly could not have asked for a better team of stylists for myself, my family and friends for my special day. I received compliment after compliment on my hair and makeup and was asked multiple times who I went to. From the bottom of my heart, not only is Dom an incredible woman to work for but she is a true artist who loves what she does and makes every bride and bridal party feel like they are movie stars. My makeup lasted the entire night and my hair did not budge. I cannot recommend their services enough!

Wilfredo is amazing. I wanted to get my daith pierced But I was very nervous. Will Was extremely professional and answered all my questions and put me at ease. I spoke with and/or had estimates done from five other companies in the area, and I got whiplash from the fee range and the different stories/recommendations I got. The amazing people at this company provided excellent, professional service, answered all of my questions patiently and provided logical explanations (harder to come by than I expected), and charged a very reasonable fee. We worked with Faros Design to design and build an addition onto our preschool center. This project presented unique challenges as the existing building was built in the mid-1800s and the construction would take place while the center still operated. They would also need to meet rigorous state and local standards for childcare facilities.The Faros team fully understood the task at hand and took great care to make sure at no time did they disrupt the operation and more importantly the children! They delivered on all fronts and left us with a beautiful new classroom for the children. If they can add a wing to our building without disrupting our center’s nap time than they can handle anything. Wish I could give 10 stars; bathroom remodel was on time and budget; quality of the work is awesome; despite a personal setback I experienced mid-remodel John continued the project at times even supervising our dog(!) in order to have it complete and perfect; my bathroom is my new 'happy place'!
we are being relocated to Florida and had to get our house painted expeditiously. Patrick was beyond wonderful. He came out within a 2 hour window of our conversation. Quoted the job on site and was ready to roll two days later. His crew is efficient and clean. Everyday the work spaces were clean and put together. The price was more than fair (if not an actual steal) for the amount of detailed work that was done in the time it was done in. Patrick oversaw every step of the way and did a completely walk through at the completion. He found a few flaws we didn't even catch! He had his crew return same day and make the corrections. Super grateful to Patrick and his crew. Excellent job!
I purchased a home with the thought of making some minor change / improvements ie; Self demo, remove windows, walls add new kitchen, remove chimney. I am very comfortable with renovation and have done quite a few projects on my home in the past . I quickly discovered I was in over my head. Bill and his crew were remodeling a home down the street and I stopped in for estimates and Immediately discovered this man knew his stuff..the project grew to building essentially a new house with full dormer, bath rooms, family room addition, new HVAC ect. Bill is incredibly organized and plans five steps ahead. There was not a day wasted. His crew is a fine tuned machine. Bills constant communication via text email or cell eliminated confusion and errors. His build quality is top notch, I can go on more. I highly recommend Homestead Constuction. Very few things in life progressed a smoothly as this project

Thanks to Mike and the Arata Landscaping team, I now enjoy pulling into my driveway again. My front garden had become overgrown to a point where I could just no longer manage it. He came out to assess my issues, LISTENED to my concerns and offered expert advice. He emailed what I believed to be a fair quote, w/a detailed, itemized description & cost breakdown for each part of the service.
My job included a smaller tree removal, stump grinding and 2nd tree shaping and thinning. The communication throughout the transaction was consistent & meant a great deal to me. Equipment used for my transaction was top-notch. His team worked so well together and clean-up was “spot on”.

I went to have my denture repaired and they did an excellent job. I swear, if Dr. Rauch had been my dentist when I was a child I would not be afraid of dentists. He's amazing!

Yaritza is a queen, Claudia is the goat and Dr. Ortiz is an icon. I get nervous for literally no reason (lol why am I like this) but time and time again they make sure I'm okay before we start. She doesn't realize it, but when Dr. Ortiz asks Alexa to play P!nk (or anything for that matter) I know I’m about to be graced with her beautiful humming and it’s BEYOND calming. As much as I dread the inevitable panic attack, I look forward to seeing everyone and getting one step closer to loving my smile again. Couldn’t recommend this team more. ?

Dr.Menta and his wife Jill really are great people. I came to Menta Chiropractic with severe sciatic pain. I had difficulty doing daily tasks and routine travel activities were difficult. I thought I would be able to stretch it out and use hot pads and pain meds to get me through my upcoming trips. After doing online research, I came across Menta Chiropractic and was able to get an appointment involving and analytic testing of my past behaviors and injuries. I expressed that I had a trip coming up that I wanted to enjoy with no leg sciatic pain. In 2021 I was very sick. I had exhausted all medical options with Yale medicine and they told me to accept this new way of life and I would have to live off their meds. 10/10 James at Milford animal hospital and staff always take amazing care of my cat MJ! She is consistently terrified to go to the vet but she comes home well groomed and happy as can be. The level of communication is appreciated and we super appreciate their updates as MJ goes through her vet appt that she has about every 6 months. She has to get sedated to be groomed and I love knowing she is in great hands when I drop her off. Highly recommend!
