I've been attending karate classes with my son (now 7) for the past year. The sensei is very kind and knowledgeable. It is a great community with many black belts very willing to help teach new students. Children and adults practice together, which really adds to the traditional feel and to the sense of community. The monthly fee is also very affordable and with classes four days a week (you can attend as often as you want) there is a lot of flexibility.

An excellent mix of karate training, including kata, bunkai, and a variety of weapons (bo, hambo, tambo most frequently). Along with the experienced instructor, there are several black belts regularly present who help train newer students.
