Exceptional service - silk press with no cut. Starina was professional yet personable and very knowledgeable about hair. I must say this was one of the best wash and blow outs. Starina thoroughly washed my hair and used a high end blow dryer that was cool yet efficient. She also flat ironed my hair resulting in beautiful and bouncy curls. Star is amazing! My service is always spot on and exquisite! Star manages my unruly curly hair and gives me professional tips to ensure I am correctly taking care of it at home. She also has given me beautiful hydrating silk presses when I want to see my length! I cannot sing her praises any louder!Services: Braids
I hope LUMI improves on the way they treat their current and potential clients!!!!!! I gotta say I actually LOVE the way they do natural hair, so much that I stalked them for weeks before getting through via phone to schedule an appointment!Ultimately the day of my appointment in the middle of taking my knottless braids out I received a call canceling my appointment due to an emergency with my stylist/the owner. I was told she would call back to reschedule which never happened.I decided to give them another try and booked online and both appointments were not accepted and canceled.I ended up calling and telling them if my experience and was given a lm appointment. it went well. I rescheduled and it went well.my third appointment was canceled the day of. I was told that I should have received a text or email advising if I completed my online profile properly!!!!! upset but I was rescheduled for a Saturday. I was told the wrong Saturday and ultimately was charged full price for the missed appointment!!!! I rescheduled again and downloaded the app so I can see the appointments... one said 330 and another said 430 on the same day. I began calling multiple times to confirm my time and was unable to get anyone.I just came but I arrived about 13 mini late. I began calling again as when I drove by the shop looked empty. I see a white car leave but didn't know who it was.I begin calling again and Shaw answers. She indicated she is there alone so it oooks empty and she couldn't answer the phone. she say Star the stylist and owner came and left in a white car.NOW I'm pissed!!! it's SOOOOO hard to get an appointment to begin with and I took off from work!Now I pay about 160 for my blow out/color! While I don't mind paying top dollar for what I want, I expect to b respected as a client and treated accordingly! As a professional stylist/owner you couldn't call ur client, answer the phone or call ur client to confirm, cancel, or rebook? Who just leaves! So unprofessiona!!!!Great stylist but poor customer service and a lack of respect or courtesy!!!!! Im a reasonable person & Im just super disappointed! Dee
