Hair By Design

I've been a customer here since they were in the Manchester pizza plaza. Never any problems with anyone. My last review, (now deleted) was 5 stars. I started having Michele do my hair for the past year and everything was fine. She said she was happy I was always on time and never cancel. I was happy with her color and haircuts. On 9/5/2023, that vibe, ended. I don't know why she didn't just cancel my appointment. I could "feel," the bad vibes when I arrived. She was snippy and weird. I brought up "Bridge of flowers", and she started screaming; "one place you couldn't pay me to go to is JAMAICA!" This went on and on...talk about awkward. Then we go to the sink, 30 minutes later. She always puts a neck support down, because I had a surgery this past February and she ALWAYS does this. She offered to do it last year, and I was very grateful. Not on 9/5/2023...she was rough and angry as she yanked my neck and blasted me with cold water. I called out:"I can't hold my head up, you're hurting me," She replies evilly with, "I know." "Why aren't you putting the neck support down", I ask? "YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR IT NOW!" What's wrong with you today? (Me) "DO YOU WANT ME TO STOP?" (Still screaming) and nobody's coming to see what the yelling is about. EVERYONE in there heard this. The other women were complicit to this behavior. Michele Anzalone has fallen into the "Karen," category. She really yanked my neck and it was on purpose. A month later and my healing cervical fusion and decompression, still hurts terribly. Michelle is a true expert when it comes to color. She took me under her wing after a “bad root job.” by a different place, who refused to work with me. Everything happens for a reason because she’s 1/8 of a mile from my house and she rocks color. My hair is shiny and bouncing and behaving. Excellent service and she really went the extra mile to ensure my roots were covered. The color is spectacular! I am elated with Michelle, and booked my next appointment in 6 weeks. Thank you very much for your expertise.
