I actually never got my hair done by this woman, her name I think is Lisa, who works at the salon.
But I have to commend her sheer ability to be a kind person with patience and overcome and obstacle for someone who she doesn’t even know - nor was I being styled by her .
I was on the hunt for a stylist for my aunt. Who’s there in Hartford Connecticut on a retreat, and she needed her hair bleached today (the same day). It was a shot in the dark.
Lisa answered the call when I called her salon and told me that she doesn’t do coloring, but she spent about 20 minutes helping me try to find a stylist for my aunt who can bleach. She did not have to go so above and beyond. She literally just could have told me “I don’t do coloring” and hung up the phone.
And even within the call she was just so kind and authentically her New York self. She won’t actually know the way she touched my heart today as I am going through a very hard time in my life but just by her taking the extra mile to help a stranger out restored my faith in humanity at least for another day and I promise to pass it along.
Thank you for everything. You are a generous soul and I wish you nothing but the best.

I called in on a Saturday morning to confirm if they would take walk-ins for my son. They said yes and I was able to come in asap to get 6 straight backs. From the second we walked in, everyone was so sweet and welcoming. My son is almost 3, and they explained that they don’t usually do little ones (which I totally understand) but they would still do his hair since we were already there. My son did cry a bit, but the stylist was still kind and worked as quick as she could. In the end, both me and my son were so happy with how his braids turned out. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!

As much as I used to enjoy reading the paper and yaking it up with the other customers while I wait, these days I simply don't the time; so, this place fits the bill just right. And, why would I want that to change? Speaking of bills, twelve dollars for a haircut, before tip, is unheard of anywhere but here. The price could only be better if you dusted off that flowbee you bought years ago, and quickly forgot about. Now, I have to make it clear that if a simple, old fashioned haircut is what you want, this is the place for you. If you're looking for a cut that will enable you to hob nob with the fashionable crem de la crem, you may want to keep browsing this app. In any event, if you do stop in, you'll be greeted by the sole barber; an older Italian gentleman, who will gladly demonstrate some of that old world charm.

I love this nail salon!!! Excellent customer service and high attention to detail. I always get a full set and pedicure and leave satisfied. My full set is always a gel manicure which lasts two weeks and my pedicure is regular polish that lasts approx. 3 weeks.
A heads up to new clients. There is one nail tech and two pedicurists in this salon. Understand that sometimes there will be a wait time for walk ins. If you are in a rush do not come here as a walk in and book an appt ahead of time. Most clients are chill and we vibe to the competitive singing shows on the TV or be on our phones.
Leave the drama at home/work before you get here and allow yourself to be immersed in tranquility leaving refreshed, pampered and feminine.

I had my nails done, a pedicure, eyebrows and upper lip waxed. Tiffany is totally awesome. She did beautiful work. She’s personable, professional, and she makes you feel at home. I 100% recommend this establishment. I give her business a 10 plus rating. Trust me when I tell you. It’s worth checking out. You do need to make an appointment but I was lucky and was able to get in on the same day that I called. She is the owner and she works with her daughter who also does excellent work. Give them a call, you won’t be disappointed.

Decided to take my friend out to get pampered we were told about this place at work. My nails were done completely neat. My friend is new to the area and only understand Spanish she had an awful job done. She was not happy I ended up coming back inside and explained her frustration and the nail tech that did my nails ended up fixing hers and wow the change was real. I appreciate the dedication.

Carmen does a great job, at a great price, and she's fast. Shop is clean, parking is easy on side st or along Park ave. Highly recommend.

Great job. Massage was detailed and thorough. My toes were treated like guitar strings. Massaged up and down. Legs, arms and neck were taken care of with detail. The several times I went there there was a different provider. They are all in a league of their own. I'm going to make it a bi-monthly visit. It helps Me to keep going at work.

Dr. Wade saved my back. I’m 21, enjoy long distance hiking at its extreme. I spent 2 five month stints hiking across the US with a 40 lb back pack. I developed a scoliosis from the constant impact of the weight on my back. 2 weeks after i returned I pulled my back. I couldnt move. Dr. Wade got me in fast and has treated me like family. After 30 visits I’m mostly pain free and my scoliosis is gone. Couldn’t be more grateful. Would give a million stars. Has to be one of the nicest most genuine people. Felt so well cared for.

If it wasn't for him and working with my learning disability I would have never passed my driving test for the first time 3/30/2024. Honestly he believed in me and it allowed me to believe in myself.
