“What a great experience for both me and my puppy! Jilly took the time to meet with me and consult the do's and don't s of grooming. From how I brush, how I wash, to even how I clip her nails, I learned so much. Then she focused on my puppy. She asked me to stay and watch. Showing me how the techniques of thinks I just could not do at home. It was incredible to watch! It was truly a Spa Day for my puppy, instead of just a trip to the groomers. You can see from the pictures just how happy she was!“
“very nice. made a spot for him. also took him in early and he was done not even long. all cleaned up.“
“We have brought our boxer Roxy here twice now will continue to do so. Roxy has high anxiety and is one of the rare that will stop eating when kenneled as she thinks that she has been abandoned. This second time we brought canned dog food to assist in the kennel bribing her into eating. Thomas gave her extra attention, petting, and took the time to mix 1/4 can into her normal food so that she would eat some. Their facility is very clean and they are genuinely caring towards the dogs boarded here. Their boarding rates are transparent and very reasonable.“
“brought my girl here and the staff working with the dogs are ALL amazing. they truly care and take time to give you updates on what your pup did for the day. unfortunately after 6 months you dog needs to be deserted to attend daycare which i totally understand. took my girl to another place in Groton and OMG the worst experience ever! rude people, no indoor play space, they crate dogs all day and no one has a clue how the dog did! do yourself a favor and just go to My Dogs Place, nothing else compares!!“
“Danielle groomed our Holly after she rolled in some really gross stuff on a hike. I expected her to walk out clean, but I never expected her to walk out a supermodel, and that’s exactly what I got! My dogs don’t need regular grooming but I would go back to Danielle In a heartbeat!“
“Groton Ledyard Veterinary Hospital took such great care of our pup, Boba. When Boba came down with pink eye, her previous vet (at a different vet hospital) was booked for the whole month and could not squeeze her in to be seen. We are super grateful to the amazing team at Groton Ledyard Vet Hospital for taking her as a new client for her urgent eye issue. We will be definitely switching Boba's care to this vet hospital! Shoutout to Dr. Newman and the vet tech who saw Boba that day. They treated her with much love and her eye completely improved. Highly recommend this vet!“
“The poor reviews must be habitual malcontents cause this family run business is all about the pet. They've rescued and cared for special needs dogs that would have ordinarily been euthanized. Big hearts abound here. I've boarded with them a couple of times from a one-day stint to a couple of overnighters. Dogs went in health and happy and I got them back the same way. They socialized with other dogs and employees and were good and tired when I got them back so I know they got to run and play all day. Isn't that what it's all about anyway?“
