I followed Cathryn to this studio after discovering her previous salon in Newington (almost a decade ago?!?). This new location is fantastic -- close to shopping and restaurants, and always tons of parking available. Having been coming to Cathryn for years, trust me when I say her work is fabulous, always! I see her for a regular wash/cut/style, and leave feeling my best and looking ready for a night out on the town. (Unfortunately, I'm not the "night out on the town" sort, so I instead look fabulous while running errands and hanging out at home... But that's MY shortcoming! If YOU want to get fancy for a date or event, Cathryn will have you covered!) Cathryn's space is upstairs at Sola Salons -- the very first studio at the top of the stairs, with easy elevator access. There are other, separate studios on the floor, but Cathryn's space is just hers, so it never feels crowded and doesn't get loud or hectic like a larger salon with multiple booths/stylists running around. I can't recommend Cathryn enough. If you need a stylist who has experience and flair, do yourself a favor and book an appointment at czk hair studio!

Catherine is superb! I moved here from Chicago where I had my choice of excellent hair stylists. It was so difficult to find someone of high-quality in the Hartford area, that I often waited to get my hair cut until my return trips to Chicago! Then I found Catherine. I can honestly say she is one of the very best stylists I've ever gone to. She listens intently and delivers a hairstyle which is somehow exactly what I requested yet better! She is extremely talented as a colorist too. She is very creative, yet operates within the boundaries we discuss in advance. To say I am pleased is a huge understatement! I would recommend Catherine without caveat.
