Brynna is incredible! She's been my stylist for about 10 years and still manages to blow me away time and time again. The salon is beautiful and super modern. I love the view from the chair. The mix of commercial elements and fall foliage is stunning!

The salon itself (voted CTNow Best of Hartford 2019) is lovely, with a great, friendly and professional vibe. Lucy has been cutting my hair for many years and I can tell you she's the best. I've lived in New York City, Boston and LA and I've never had haircuts as great as those I consistently get from Lucy. Don't let her youthful looks fool you - this woman knows everything there is to know about hair. She continues to educate herself, staying on top of the latest trends. She loves her work and knows what's right for different hair types, personal styles and individual facial features. You can tell her exactly what you want, and she'll do it to perfection. But even better, take her advice and let her guide you to a younger, more beautiful you with her artist's eye. She is, in fact, an artist. Hair is such an important feature - a crowning glory. A haircut/color/style from Lucy will elevate your look and do wonders for your self esteem. Who needs therapy when there's Lucy Nowicki?!?

I have been following Jen for about 15 years now. She is the best and Alex Hair Studio is beautiful - it’s always clean and it has a New York City style. Highly recommend this salon and Jen!
