I discovered Dr. Vincent and Spine & Sports Medicine about four months ago after developing a trigger thumb phenomenon in my left thumb. I tried everything to address it, and finally came across a video on YouTube that talked about the benefits of the Graston Technique, which Dr. Vincent utilizes. I called the office and Carol was extremely helpful and professional in setting up an appointment for me right away. Dr. Vincent then listened to me carefully, worked diligently to address my situation, and I’m pleased to report that after several weeks of treatment, the trigger thumb condition resolved completely, I highly recommend Dr. Vincent and the entire staff at Spine...read full review
Dr. Vincent is the real deal: highly educated at a top US college, with an ongoing drive for education about the latest developments in physical therapy and chiropractic advancements. So grateful for his kindness, expertise, and whole-person approach. He’s helped me go from a wheelchair to walking without assistance, something I wasn’t sure was possible. I was referred by my renowned neurosurgeon, who implored me to ONLY see Dr. Vincent for PT, an endorsement that has benefitted my life more than I ever imagined!
When I first started seeing Dr. Vincent, I had very recently come out of a wheelchair, and was still dependent on my walker simply to even get around my house. Having a severe and potentially-lethal spinal injury with ongoing and lifelong complications, I had to find the right doctor for my unique and complex case. My renowned neurosurgeon referred me directly to Dr. Vincent, telling me 'this is the only person who you need to see for physical therapy.' And he was right! In the time that I've seen Dr. Vincent, miraculously and in under one year, I have gone from wheelchair- bound to walking without constant assistance or even my cane. Dr. Vincent has made my chronic situation far more livable, and given me hope. In the multiple therapies I receive, customized each visit to my ever-changing needs, Dr. Vincent is able to change his approach and come up with new and effective supports to battle my severe chronic pain. I am so grateful to him, and highly recommend him to everyone. He has helped me find joy in life again. I really don't understand the other review, none of the things described have any relation to Dr. Vincent's actual therapy methods. Perhaps the review was written in error, because it doesn't describe Dr. Vincent. It's incumbent upon patients to communicate their needs, and Dr. Vincent listens to everything! Never once have I simply been given a heating pad for a few minutes; he is NOT someone who takes his patients' cases lightly, and that makes me suspicious of the review. Dr. Vincent is an open, communicative expert, and also gifted (and highly certified) acupuncture practitioner.
