“We have now done two projects with Steve from Carpet King and Flooring and both have been flawless. In June 2020, we had carpeting removed and replaced with vinyl plank flooring in our in law apartment. Steve came over with several samples and had the job done for us within days. Couldn't have been an easier project. We were on a very tight timeline and he made it happen without issue, even in the height of the pandemic. About a year later we noticed a slight defect in one of the planks, and because of the lifetime warrantee, he came out and fixed it right away.Most recently we had him replace the hard wood floors in our kitchen and dining room with vinyl plank flooring as part of our kitchen renovation. He had a great selection of styles and colors in his showroom at very fair prices. He was also able to make some excellent recommendations to save us a ton of time and money with the project when he came out to measure our space, that we would not have considered on our own. Because he is so reasonable, we had his crew come to demo the existing floors and make all necessary repairs before installing the new floors. Despite coming across several layers of unexpected flooring, they did a fantastic job preparing the space for the new floors. We were beyond impressed with how fantastic our new floors look, and can't wait to continue updating the rest of the flooring in our home.Steve has been excellent to work with start to finish. He is extremely responsive and easy to get in touch with. He answered all of our questions along the way. Scheduling each step of the project was simple, and his crew was always on time and professional. They clearly take pride in their work. Would highly recommend!“

“The Hardwood Guys just refinished 2 rooms in my 100-year-old house. The rooms had not been done in over 50 years so I wasn't expecting miracles. Well the finished rooms look brand new now ... the detail of the wood is beautiful. The entire process of dealing with this company was top notch professional from the initial home visit consultation to the actual job itself. The 2 workers sent to the house were so amazing: respectful, presentable, hardworking and very good at their job. They plastic covered everything and advised me how best to set the A/C and windows for maximum drying. They came several days in a row and were easy to deal with regarding scheduling. Lastly, their price was super! No wonder the Property Brothers like this company. I will definitely use them again for future projects.“

“We have just completed a sizable renovation at our home in Madison ,CT and used Floor & Decor for both materials and design services. Overall the experience was very good and the team was helpful in sorting out a few order issues and processing refunds accordingly. Particularly, I worked closely with Patty in design services and am grateful for the collaboration. Coming into the project, I had a good sense for the aesthetic we wanted, but no real experience with renovations. Patti was an excellent partner and helped in guiding us through the selection process room by room. She was patient and helpful while not being overly assertive. We learned things from her as we went along and I felt that she listened very well to what we were saying and came up with good ideas that would compliment our vision while staying within color schemes, budgets, etc. She was thorough and thoughtful in checking in and following up to see how progress was coming along with the renovation and even helped troubleshoot an issue that wasn't really her fault with one of our orders. I would definitely work with Patti again and would recommend her and Floor & Decor to others.“
