Everyone was professional and inviting from the doctors, to the techs, to the front desk personel. My doctors that checked on me after the delivery of my baby were attentive and genuinely enthusiastic about the birth of my newborn. The team here is wonderful.

I went in for a problem visit as a new patient I had an appointment with a male doctor which I was uncomfortable with but knowing that not everyone is the same I was hoping that this was going to be different. Well it wasn't. There was absolutely no compassion for what I was goin threw and he kept talking over me I was only allowed to ask one question. He kept harping on the fact that my blood pressure was super high but I'm shaking in the chair and he didn't even notice or ask if I was ok. He also said that I can't do what I want to do as a form of birth control... this wasn't the reason for the visit in the first place!!!! There are many forms of contraception he only talked about condoms I had mentioned that I would rather not be intimate if that was the only option his response was " well don't then" giggling at his own whit which I really did not find funny. I'm a happily married woman who isn't even 40 yet and was treated like a "working girl" he had spent the whole visit lecturing me about not having a primary and having high blood pressure, he did also mention that I should get a shrink bc I might have a lot on my plate. Duh genius what's why I had even scheduled the appointment to get something off my plate. At the end of the visit he kept taking extremely loud so the entire waiting room could hear him, so what if I wanted a primary closer to where I live and thanks for letting everyone know about what procedures I was then to be scheduled for. I walked out of the the office w a reminder about the next visit but no self worth, tainted and dirty. Lesser than human.I was referred to the practice by a close friend who loves it there and ensured me that they are fantastic, warm and compassionate. She was extremely embarrassed after I told her about my visit and was mad at the way I was treated. His treatment with me just added into my reluctance to ever have a male doctor again. Canceled my next appointments the next day.

I was rushed through an exam and there was no follow up from Dr La Pearla. Dr La Pearla seemed ill equipped to answer questions and knew very little about new procedures and ways to address women gyn issues..very disappointed
