“Laura & Karen along with dr. Guimond were very accommodating to my needs being in a wheelchair. The exam was fairly quick & insightful finding out that there was an offering of computer glasses! I then was directed to the cost effective section of frames since my insurance would not cover the cost as of yet. I picked out a couple of frames & was told a week or so for them to be ready. They were ready quicker than I thought & was able to pick them up & they're great! I was so surprised how much of a difference the computer ones make! I'll definitely be going back in the future!“

“Goodness!! I read the previous review. I don't know what to say. My personal experience is so vastly different. I have taken two senior citizens to both Dr Palozej and (later) to Dr Matt for over 10 years. While there is little that can be done medically for them, the doctors have been kind and compassionate. I have taken my young son with Down's Syndrome to Dr. Matt for over 5 years. He is kind, funny, and very clever in getting Ian to give as accurate visual information as possible. He is very practical in his care and advice. Both I and my daughter see Dr Matt. I just cannot say enough good things about him and the knowledgeable care he gives. I don't have a great deal of interaction with the staff. The interactions I have had have been competent and pleasant. The technician today was completely outstanding and patient with my awkward attempts to successfully do one of the visual tests. She made an otherwise arduous test fun and interactive. I'm so sorry the previous reviewer had such a difficult experience. I would only hope s/he might give the office another try.“

“My 2 year old Oakley glasses had one of the hinge pin was lost. Needed a working pair of glasses immediately. Heather, at the Manchester, CT Target at Buckland Hills, was amazing by replacing the same pair of glasses and resolved my problems. Awesome service!“

“Dr. Manganiello is wonderful and extremely patient. I had a plugged oil gland on my lower eyelid that was bothering me (I had no idea what it was) and a friend recommended Dr. Manganiello at CT Eye Physicians & Surgeons. He explained (in simple terms) what was going on. I'll spare going into details of how he removed what looked like a teensy tiny whitehead in my eyelid, but it took a long time. Every step of the way, he'd check to make sure I wasn't experiencing pain. He gave me thorough care instructions. It's now a few weeks after this procedure, and I'm doing great. I highly recommend Dr. Manganiello and his excellent staff.“

“I had an eyeball emergency. See, I'm a dipshit who likes to wear her contacts for WAY too long. (Including sleeping with them in.) This is bad. And can lead to allergies and ripped contacts and just general discomfort...which is what I was having at work one day. I was able to get in quickly to see Dr. Squillace, who was very nice and efficient. I work crazy hours, and he agreed to stay a little late one day so that I could pick up my glasses and contacts. All in all, a pretty good experience.“

I asked about trying contact lenses again after an irritating experience I had with contacts thirty years ago. She listened and provided insightful guidance.
