I can't believe I just found this place! I called Monday night and left a voicemail to see if they could fit me in for a pedi and brow wax today. When Alyssa (so sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) called back Tuesday they initially could not fit me in but put me on a cancellation list. To my surprise, she called me later that afternoon to tell me they could accommodate me due to a cancellation ... I was elated. The salon is small but I love the ambiance. Appointments are required. I would imagine it's hard to get last minute appointments Because of the salon size, so keep that in mind. The subtle glitter patient on the walls feels glamorous. It is clean. My first time experience this and I have to say I love it .... No jet tubs! They fill a large clean bowl with warm water and a delightful smelling mixture. Takes away a lot of the worry about sticking your feet in an unclean tub. You don't sit in a traditional salon massage chair rather a comfortable bench with throw pillows. The sugar scrub they use on your legs smells incredible and my legs are SO smooth hours later. I really loved Alyssa. Conversation was SO natural. My brows also look incredible and the waxing/tweezing was minimally painful compared to other experiences. This place is truly a hole in the wall gem. Snapped a few photos inside but definitely should check it out for yourself! I'm looking forward to my next visit. It doesn't feel like a factory loaded with people and I loved that!
Laura & Karen along with dr. Guimond were very accommodating to my needs being in a wheelchair. The exam was fairly quick & insightful finding out that there was an offering of computer glasses! I then was directed to the cost effective section of frames since my insurance would not cover the cost as of yet. I picked out a couple of frames & was told a week or so for them to be ready. They were ready quicker than I thought & was able to pick them up & they're great! I was so surprised how much of a difference the computer ones make! I'll definitely be going back in the future!
Recently used the services of Gold Star Remodeling and was completely satisfied. Initially, contracted this company for a master bath renovation and then again for the downstairs powder room. The removal of a 32+ year jetted tub and surround along with the motor was a challenge. A wall had to be removed and a new one constructed to accommodate the length of the new shower pan. New flooring had its own set of challenges as one of the walls was a "roof pitch" but Dave managed to lay it down to our satisfaction. Our old vanity was repurposed by painting it navy blue to coordinate with the new medicine cabinet and all the walls were painted a contrasting light blue. White baseboards were installed and new lighting completed the project. The project took a bit longer than expected due to the challenges the plumber faced with our post-and-beam constructed house. They had to upgrade the 1-1/2 inch tub drain with a 2 inch shower drain to satisfy the town's building code without cutting into any of the posts or beams. The powder room went much faster and the same flooring and paint colors were used. No plumbing issues and Gold Star Remodeling was able to complete their tasks without issue. My wife and I got the recommendation from Gottier Fuel and we have used them several time for all big jobs. A split unit central air for our house a full pellet furnace a deducting our house after asbestos abatement and every job was top notch. He can do it all and is a great and honest. We don’t get prices any more he gives us an estimate and done.
We hired Natalie and her team to renovate our bathroom and remodel our whole upstairs including putting in a walk-in closet and all I can say is WOW! She and her team are so professional and the quality of work is amazing. Her attention to detail (especially with things like the super difficult tile I picked) is impeccable. I originally hired her as I had heard great things from others and she lived up to her amazing reputation. As a stay-at-home mom, I was totally comfortable with the team working while I was at home. I have worked with other contractors before and my one regret about Natalie is that we did not find her sooner! Please hire her-- you will be so happy you did.

I tried Gottier Electric on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm glad I did! I had them move a 240V outlet for my dryer, add a number of 120V outlets throughout the house, and add a generator hook up. They were able to schedule about a week after I called and offered a fair price. I'll be using them again for all my future electrical needs.

Excellent experience with Skips from start to finish. I would highly recommend you call them for your septic requirements. Sharon was pleasant, professional and very responsive. Communication was outstanding as Skips uses a variety of tools to keep you informed. I received multiple text messages confirming my appointment as well as a timely message the morning of my service call indicating who the technician would be and when they would arrive - you can even track their status online! Markin was equally as pleasant and professional. He was very thorough and did an outstanding job. He inspected & documented everything. Pricing was extremely competitive. I received a detailed invoice along with documentation about the service site & system, including pictures. I am glad I called them and will do so again in the future.

Just got the outside of our house and two rooms painted by this company. While the results were terrific the professionalism of the entire crew is what makes them outstanding. Phenomenal Phil worked wonders on our floor, which hadn’t been touched for nearly 30 years! It was covered with deep scratches and graying spots that were very dried out. I was hoping for any improvement and would have been satisfied, but WOW… they look brand new. I could not recommend anyone else. He was reasonably priced, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We are so excited to have beautiful floors before the holidays ?

I want to be sure I am fair on this one. I went to Arlena on recommendation after seeing a gorgeous acrylic set she did on a friend. She did a beautiful pedi for me and more sets of acrylics for my daughter and friend. I had her do a beautiful design mani on my natural nails for my wedding but the polish starting peeling off completely within 8 hours. I was unhappy with her initial reply which was simply that she "could not guarantee how long polish lasts on natural nails." I had to request a refund twice which I believe should have been immediately offered. Arlena did refund me against normal policy and did apologize for the situation she left me in just hours before my wedding. As upset as I was with the situation, and will not personally return to the salon, I do have to say that her art skills and acrylics are fantastic.
I just recently came here, and I must say I’ve been completely astonished by Christine’s incredible work. My hair has never been so smooth, beautiful and flawless, than ever before. I asked to have layers, a couple inches off the edges, and she cut exactly how I wanted it to be. She herself is so kind, and sweet, and she is an amazing person to talk to. Its memorial day weekend ( sunday) I was having a sudden eye issue so i went online googling emergency eyecare in ct after calling my regular eye dr whos office has no emergency care after hour care apparently. I came across advanced eyecare . I called and left a message explaining i was not a regualr patient and i was having this issue. Dr Matt called me back very quickly. We spoke about the issue and symptoms i was having. He told me what he thought was going on and called in some eyedrops to cvs. Dr Matt was so kind and caring. He even text me a few hours later to make sure i was able to pick up the medication. I am blown away by him and how helpful he was especially with me not being a regular patient to his office. I am so thankful for his help, great Dr. Its hard to come by such quality service these days.

I had Certified Snow & Landscaping on my property for 3.5 days to remove about 40 trees, I couldn’t be more impressed. The crew was professional and friendly, the entire process stress-free. They clearly take pride in their work, using newer, high quality equipment and running a professional operation. They made my property safe by clearing all the dead trees and even left the wood chips in neat, tidy piles as I requested. The cleanup was thorough, and they hauled away all the old wood. I highly recommend them!

I've been going to Dr. Prichard at ECAC for 24 years now. I highly recommend the practice to anyone as he is very knowledge on the latest research and information. Everything is explained well with a compassionate approach and their fees are reasonable. The staff are friendly and professional, the practice is impeccably clean and efficiently managed. I'm so happy to have found out about them so long ago and have been extremely satisfied with the care they provide.

I noticed an external faucet was leaking so I called around to several plumbers. Most calls went straight to voicemail or couldn't fit me in to an appointment for a few days. Liberty Plumbing was pleasant on the phone and was able to schedule my appointment for the next day. Shawn, the plumber, was knowledgeable, friendly, worked quick, and talked me through everything I needed to know about the new faucet install. The price was where I assumed as well after checking Angie's List. I can't complain about anything from the installation. Dr. Noel is a God-send and literally a life saver. I'm 64 with numerous back concerns and he has helped me realize that there is hope for getting my "legs back" and living a full life.
