“I moved to East Windsor recently and needed a new dentist. I'm not sure of too many folks who love going to the dentist, me included, even for a cleaning. I have pretty good dental hygiene, but last year, I ended up going through an unexpected ordeal with a dentist and then was referred to an oral surgeon. No fun all the way around. Needless to say, I was apprehensive about making this appointment. I wanted only the minimum: just a cleaning and no xrays. I was surprised by how accommodating the office was and how pleasant they were. I got no pushback at all. The hygienist was fantastic, quick but thorough, with no pain involved. I was thrilled to have a female dentist (Dr. Lori) pop in to check my mouth. You could tell the office had a great rapport with all the patients there. I had originally planned on going back in a year, but it was such an easy experience that I scheduled for 6 months. Nice job to all!“

“Dr. Grilli, Jr., is truly excellent in his field. He is also very kind to and respectful of patients, always carefully explaining procedures beforehand. Very gentle, he also is conservative with procedures, doing what is necessary to keep teeth healthy but not recommending unneeded, more radical work. Very lucky to have a dentist of this caliber available to us in this area. The entire, high quality staff also reflects his kindness and respect to patients.“

“As a new patient I was nervous as I usually am going to the dentist. Today was my first visit to have a cracked crown replaced. Dr. Todd's staff was very friendly and polite. They treated me as if I was long time established patient.

Dr. Todd and his assistant were professional, friendly and made me feel very calm which I never experienced with my previous dentist.

“Bolton Lake Dental is the best practice I have ever used, bar none. Christine Ilies is an excellent dentist and takes exceptional care to explain your options. She also manages a fine office. Everyone in it is both very professional and a pleasure to be in contact with. Each time I have had an appointment, it has begun on time. The office is in a convenient location on Route 44 and has plenty of parking. I highly recommend Dr. Ilies and her staff. Note that on my Yelp page, the one-star review of Amanda M from 12/23/2019 is not reviewing Bolton Lake Dental. Instead, she is another reviewing another nearby practice, and ends that by saying the Bolton Lake Dental "is right down the road," is staffed by . Great people" and is "safe and clean." So Amanda's review on the other practice was misplaced and, it seems, probably would have been five stars to Bolton Lake. Also note that all 15 reviews on Google, are five stars. Reviews on other sites are similarly excellent. I suspect the Dr. Ilies took over the practice from another dentist, who is the one getting panned on the old reviews on Yelp.“

“I just had a consultation for a root canal with Dr. Jonathan Zahner for my 16 year old daughter. A few months ago we were told my daughter she definitely needs a root canal. My daughter is terrified of needles and started having severe anxiety just talking about it. So I did research to find an office anywhere in CT (we drove from Branford) that offers nitrous oxide. The office is beautiful, so clean and inviting. Everyone from the front desk to our dental assistant were super friendly and patient with myself and my daughter. Everything with the X-rays and digital pictures were explained and done in such a professional manner. When we met with Dr. Zahner he said that we can go a more conservative way and perform a filling considering she did not have any pain or sensitivity with her tooth. We were both so relieved and happy about this. He explained exactly what he would do during the filling and why. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found this practice and for her to be given another option. So we will be returning in 1 weeks to have that done. I highly recommend this practice.
