“I purchased 1x4 Mataverde ipe decking from General Woodcraft about 14 years ago. Our contractor face screwed our deck and it remains as sturdy and beautiful as the day it was installed - no splintering, insects, warping etc. We live in an area with wood boring bees and dealt with them for years. Well, not with this material. Not one bee hole. We especially love that we never have to apply sealer or stain. We choose that look as we live near the salt water and prefer the natural patina gray weathered look. It is beautiful.“
