A long overdue shoutout to the amazing folks at the Niantic Animal Hospital. Almost a year ago, we found a stray cat living under a shed on the docks where I work. He was very timid, afraid of people, and not in the best health. We started feeding him, named him Tunafish (his favorite snack that we gave him), and decided we should probably get him neutered and checked out at a vet. A friend told me about a local organization that partners with the Niantic Animal Hospital providing low cost services for stray cats. Sure enough, we were able to get him shots and fixed there for a fraction of the cost that I was quoted from some of the other vets around town. Not only that, but all of the staff I dealt with at the office were some of the nicest and most helpful people I've ever met. As soon as you walk in the door here, it becomes obvious that your animal is in good hands. Nowadays, Tuna is as healthy as a horse and the friendliest cat you could ever meet. His living situation has also improved quite a bit, as he ended up coming home with me not long after his vet visit. Big thanks to Niantic Animal Hospital for helping turn not just Tuna's life around, but all of the other strays that they assist with TNR.

I bring my cat here and I think they are great. She's a spicy little one but they are very understanding. You can email them or call them and they will return your call within a day. I've never waited longer than 24 hours to get a response from them (except maybe when they have to outsource testing work). My cat has really bad anxiety and they have been extremely helpful figuring out what medications to put her on. When her meds got a too pricey, they didn't mind sending it to the human pharmacy and helping me fill it there. All in all, very communicative which I really appreciate. My only complaint is that it is hard to get an appointment for day of emergencies. But...read full review

They really were very kind and helped me through my cat passing. The pricing was definitely fair and they adjusted their schedule so my family could say good bye before... I'm super appreciative of them.
