“Mizzara SLAYED my goddess locs. I showed her a picture and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Long medium goddess locs with triangle parts (parts ON POINT!). Her hands are blessed. The vibe was A1…music playing and great conversation about what’s happening in the world. Mizzara is a business woman so she’s straightforward and serious about proper hair care. I also find that her pricing strategy gives the client more value and not having the pressure of feeling like they have to commit to a certain set “amount” of whatever treatment they are getting, which was something I didn’t like about my prior med spa. I 100% recommend this establishment. I give her business a 10 plus rating. Trust me when I tell you. It’s worth checking out. You do need to make an appointment but I was lucky and was able to get in on the same day that I called. She is the owner and she works with her daughter who also does excellent work. “I had my lashes lifted with Carla, and they are amazing! I have always had an issue where half of my lashes curl the wrong way which causes a lot of pain and discomfort. I end up having my eye Dr remove some lashes on a regular basis. Carla did the lift and it was instantly so much better! Besides the fact that it looks like I am wearing the best mascara ever (with no actual makeup on!!) My top lashes are not tangling with my bottom lashes, nor are any going in my eye and scraping. I wish I did this sooner, and will definitely keep coming back!! Thank you Carla!!!“

“Very easy scheduling. Due to her busy schedule she prefers booking directly off her IG: @beautybarbyjanet but she is also happy to accept calls in between clients. Her chic salon is in the high-end of West Hartford in the Blue Back Square in the Marshalls plaza, so ample free parking. She has elevator services that’ll take you up to her suite, concierge can walk you down to her. She is always happy to see her clients and honestly it feels like visiting a good friend. The loft is super cute and very inviting. Her lashing is superb, i loved that she listened to what I envisioned and she was super professional in her recommendations to protect the integrity of my natural lashes. I have gone to a LOT of technicians and honestly I immediately could tell the difference in going to a certified tech vs going to her who is licensed. My lashes lasted 3-4 weeks before I needed a mini fill. Her prices are reasonable compared to others. The music is always on point, the deep relaxation is immediate when you arrive. I’ll continue to go to her. Def recommend.“
