After a month of trying to get my 2 year old Samsung washer repaired, they finally gave up and offered to refund the cost of the washer but NOT the cost of the totally. useless Allstate extended warranty. AND I have to pay to have the old one removed and the new one delivered! What the hell!! Heres the email.... Thank you for contacting The Home Depot Protection Plans. Only positive thing is that we love the flooring we found. The negatives are the people they hire out to do the installs are shit and will rip you off. Our floor started to bubble because the people they hired did not put the moisture barrier down and Home Depot refuses to do anything about it. We called the people that were hired by them to fix their mistake and they said they would and gave us some bullshit excuse to why they didn't put it down. They still have yet to return to fixed their shit job and will not return our calls. I don't normally do this but I am beyond livid with the service. I didn't think I had to babysit "professionals" but I was wrong.
I agree highly with all of these bad reviews on Home Depot, customer service and quality of product and service. I just spent a lot of money on a new refrigerator. The delivery guys that came were rude, disrespectful of me and my home they damaged my wood floors. They refused to allow me to inspect the new product before hooking it up. They scratched the front of my unit and the side, shove the paperwork in front of me and told me to sign for it and they hurried out of my house. they left me with a mess to cleanup, a damaged unit and damage to my home. I called the sales associate who sold me the product and they referred me to Sedwick to start a claim. I sent pictures and I'm still waiting on a response. I requested service to come and check the installation to make sure it was installed properly. They never sent me an email the day before informing me of when they would be showing up. They showed up with a terrible attitude at my door could not even communicate with me, had to call the manager to communicate. They told me to call a plumber. so, problems with installation problems with service, problems all the way around. This has turned into a complete nightmare. I really wish I had gone to another store to purchase this product. This is the last time I go to Home Depot for anything.
