Had Mike hook our house up to city water after our well ran dry. Selected him initially because he was the most responsive and personable, but his price ended up coming in far and away the best (beating his nearest competitor by $3000 - and that competitor never came to the house to assess the project but took 6 weeks to get me an estimate). Each time a permitting issue came up with the city, Mike handled it THAT DAY as he is apparently quite well regarded there. He showed up on the day promised and finished the work ahead of time. I tend to be very picky about the work product of tradesmen, but I have absolutely no complaints and am in fact extremely impressed. He even lowered the contract price by $150 on the day he was doing the work when he discovered that he had inadvertently overcharged us. Had he said nothing, we never would have known. Rarely do you find character, principle and honesty like that these days. He even put down grass seed after nicely refilling the yard trench the new water line went into. At the end of the day - you will not go wrong with Mike Lombardi Heating and Plumbing. A professional's professional.
