The weather stripping on our back door came off, so, called Scott to have it replaced. Plus check the lock on the door which did not function properly. Upon review of the door he said replacing the weather stripping was not necessary, as the door fitted well enough that no draft would come in. This saved us a few bucks. His nephew repaired the lock. Good job. We definitely will call him with any other problems around the house.

We had a problem with a ceiling bathroom fan that had not been anchored properly into the drywall ceiling in our master bathroom. The fan got disturbed and dropped down when some workers from our roofing company attached a new duct to a new roof vent for that bathroom. I contacted Scott through NextDoor after my wife had seen very good reviews for his work on NextDoor. I had tried to install drywall anchors in the ceiling, but they broke through the drywall as it wasn't much room between the holes for the fan and the cut out square for the fan itself. I exchanged text messages with Scott and we arranged for him to stop by the next day after I had spoken with him on a Sunday afternoon via text message. He came over on Monday afternoon, sized up the situation and was able to drill two long screws into a nearby joist on the left-hand side of the fan and used loose piece of wood that was up in the attic to attach the right side of the fan insecurely attached it to the ceiling properly. He only charged us for his normal call out fee, and we were very happy with him and with his work. I would highly recommend him for small jobs around your home.
