About New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS)
New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) offers Class-A and Class-B commercial driving education in Bridgeport, Connecticut and New York. Since 1965, the school has been helping students become truck-driving professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge. The experienced instructors share their years of experience behind the wheel to better educate students about the industry. NETTTS provides Commercial Driver's License Training as well as CDL industry safety training, and is an approved Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) provider. The school has on-site parking and bus accessibility through the Greater Bridgeport Transit system. I graduated from NETTTS in October of 2025. Some of the best instructors, who truly want to see you succeed. They know when you need help, and when you could be working on your own. They push you towards independence even when you think you may not be ready for it. I’m now a licensed driver at 20 years old driving tri axles
I graduated from NETTTS in October of 2020. That was the year that COVID hit us and the school really tried to make every accommodation that they could for the students in the HVAC program. I’m really grateful to the instructors and staff and I consider many of them friends to this day. They are there to share their years of knowledge and experience but you have to come in with a positive attitude and mindset. This isn’t High School and they are not just there to “pass you through”. Here is what I want want you to take away from this post: I went to school there when I was 40. I worked a full time job and a part time job. I had my three kids on the weekends. If you really want to make the change for steps at a better life and a solid career, apply to NETTTS. If you show that you are serious, determined and respectful of the classroom (not just the instructors but the other students), the instructors will work with you and help you succeed. I recommend that you contact Jim and request a tour if you have even a little interest in ANY trade. This school gives you a dip into a lot of fields.
