I recently took my 8-year-old son for a haircut and had an exceptional experience at this salon. After trying numerous places with consistently disappointing results, I was thrilled to finally find a gem. John, the hairstylist, was not only friendly but also incredibly skilled and attentive to my son's preferences. He executed the haircut exactly as requested, leaving my son delighted with the outcome. It's evident that John is a highly talented professional, and I'm delighted to have found this Barbershop. We'll definitely be returning for all of my son's future haircuts. Highly recommend!

Recently moved Branford and needed a new barber and I definitely found one. First time John cut my hair was like i have been in his chair many times. The conversation and ambiance is like a Barber Shop Speak Easy…only thing missing was the Whiskey. Definitely recommend The Blue Collar Barber and his staff for an affordable quality cut

I've been going to John for years now. I began when I lived in New Haven and continue even though I now live 25 minutes away. If you're looking for the classic barbershop atmosphere without the "classic" stigmas, this is the place to go. I get a great haircut everytime and couldn't recommend a place more.
