“My family and I have seen Dr. John as needed over the years. He is fantastic and not one of those chiropractors who ropes you into weekly appointments for life nor does he try to sell things. He adjusts what needs attention and lets us go until we next need a tune up. I have a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders, not only does he do adjustments but gives additional advice on stretching and massaging. When I brought my mother in he insisted that she get an x-ray before he treat her because of the specifics of her pain. He wouldn't treat her until she had gotten those x-rays which he correctly predicted would result in a knee replacement. We trust him and I go a few times a year, especially after I travel because I have trouble with my neck after flights.“

“have known Craig since 1980 when he just started his practice. I was trying to get an appointment with a well known Chiropractor in the area but he was simply too busy to accept new patients. He suggested that I call his chiropractor, Craig O'Connell, so I did and he has never disappointed me. My husband was going to Yale for a back injury injury that seemed to be getting worse despite painful injections and pills. They said his only option was surgery that would require a year to recover from and restrict his to lifting no more that 25 lbs. He was only 24! I did some research and decided to try a Chiropractor. Craig examined him, took x-rays and said he couldn't repair the damage but he thought he could treat the symptoms, relieve his pain and help him manage the injury. He said he wanted to see him 3 times a week for 8 weeks, but, in 6 visits he would know if he could help him. Craig is a therapeutic Chiropractor, he doesn't do hard adjustments unless you ask and he puts emphasis on Prevention. How the way you move and stand can affect you, especially in jobs that require standing, lifting and repetitive motions. After 4 weeks he reduced the visits to twice a week, by the end of 6 weeks Mark was a different person with no pain and almost full range of motion. He went back for "touchups" whenever he felt that he overdid it but this was light years away from what he expected and we are both grateful. I have had some back stress and a painful, traumatic injury from work but Craig was always there when I called for help and ergonomic suggestions to help me at work. He is a kind, generous man who is dedicated to his practice and his patients. I honestly cannot say enough good things about him and I dread his retirement which I hope is a long way off.“
