I would add 4.5 stars if I could. I love the people who work here, every nurse/vet tech and everyone at the front desk is always wonderful.The vet himself, or one of them however, is ALWAYS rude. I keep coming back here only for everyone else who works here and because while he's rude, he seems to at least care about animals.

My 2 year German Shepherd was experiencing a coughing choking behavior on a Sunday. My vet was closed and I would have had to travel to Rhode Island to be seen. I called Norwich Veterinary Hospital and Sue answered the phone, identified what was wrong and told me to google a term and she was exactly correct on what was wrong. She also told me if I needed to feel better about the situation and wanted to have the dog seen she would make arrangements for that day. Thank you Sue!!! I chooses to switch from All Friends and am extremely pleased with choosing Norwich Veterinary Hospital for my now 3 year old German Shepherd's care. Been taking my senior Persian here for a few months to take care of his spondylosis. I was really pleased with my experience with the vet techs on a busy Saturday. They took the time to review my cat's x-rays in depth. They even let me behind the front desk to look at the images with them and explain everything in detail. We had so many questions and concerns and they did not rush us. Each month he comes in now for his arthritis shot and he's showing so much improvement. The techs are so kind and compassionate. Thank you for greatly improving Rumi's senior years. He is playing again!
