“I had a great experience with Beaver Electric. I got the referral from one of my favorite local businesses in CT. I had a long list of repairs/replacements and the guys showed up right on time and worked straight through the day. When I left the house to run errands at 10am they already had at least 5 tasks completed from the checklist. One of the punch list items was to replace a bathroom fan, I had no idea that the entire time I've had this house that the fan wasn't connected to an exhaust/vent system. All the moisture was literally just blowing into the attic insulation. In addition to the long list they showed up for, they now had to crawl to the attic and build out an exhaust to vent properly to the outside. “I am selling my house and wanted to replace my expensive chandelier with something else. Basic fixture.............installed them a million times before. Fired it up nothing. House inspection in two days. Did all I could to troubleshoot the problem..no answer. Called Harbor in a panic 4 pm on Monday and they were there at 8:15 am Tues morning. To really nice guys solved the problem...the switch..and they were on their way. Even installed the fixture again which was dangling from the wires from me attempting to solve the problem..“

“Paul absolutely saved my day today. I had made an appointment with a different electrician, which fell thru. I needed an electrician so a tenant could move into an apartment we own, so there was a timing pressure and I was so stressed. It was a Hail Mary, but I made a flurry of calls, and Paul answered. Not only did he answer, but he gave me a realistic window when he'd be able to show up, kept in touch with me and was even able to show up earlier than projected, which was just so great. On this day we only needed to get the system safe to turn on for our new tenant, but the fact is, we know we need quite an overhaul, it's an very old house, and he was able and willing to not only get us up to safety, but had a good and realistic discussion about our future electrical needs. I'm sticking with this guy. Homeownership can be scary. Needing work done in an area that you have no real knowledge of can be scary. Paul took the scary parts away PLUS his rates are extremely reasonable (less,in fact, than our original appointment today).
