We had our floors refinished a week ago and it literally looks like a brand new house. They got rid of water damage and scratches from the dogs in minutes. They worked quickly and efficiently. They went above and beyond and even asked us if we needed help to block off the open floor plan for the dogs! They answered all of our questions and had great ideas on how to best navigate the house until the floors cured. You don't always see customer service and pride in their work like this today and when you do, you hold onto their name, recommend them to everyone and offer a heartfelt thank you. Apologies in advance, as this is a very LONG (and overdue) review ?When we moved into our house almost three years ago, the first thing I knew I wanted to change eventually (AKA as soon as possible) were the floors. Of course the pandemic hit in2020, so those plans were put on a temporary hold. We did other projects, but ultimately the floor color would complete the look we were going for through the house 100%.Fast forward a few years to 2022: I saw a few referrals on Facebook for a local flooring company who seemed to have everything you’d want when hiring for a major home change. I can recommend John Pratt and his son Adam as knowledgeable, smart, and reliable. Not only do they do a good job with both soft- and hardwood floors, they have the patience to work with their customers when it comes time to choose a stain and/or clear finish. They are flexible about necessary interruptions in the work. And they lay tile. They listen to their customers concerns and can adjust their approach should circumstances or product choice require it. Their fees are reasonable for the work.
