I love Nick's! When I first moved to town, I went to the guy a few doors down (random google choice). His cuts were fine, but didn't do apts, so I often had to wait there for 45 min before it was my turn. I don't know about y'all, but I've got other ways I'd like to kill time.I switched to Nick's, and haven't looked back. I've had my hair cut and styled by Sharon at the Men's Place for 15 years. It's always been an enjoyable experience and I always walk out with a good look. She's been open throughout the pandemic and really goes out of her way to keep things safe. I haven't even thought about getting my hair cut elsewhere in over a decade. May not be the place to go if you're trying to look like your favorite Disney Jr. actor, but I've actually had my hair cut here and I was very happy with it. Cash only, closed 4 days a week and call to schedule as theres no website.
On a side note, I think that reviews should be posted by those who have actually visited a particular business and can write intelligently about what others can expect if they also choose to do so. I think that posting negative reviews as spiteful attacks because a person feels slighted that a business owner doesn't understand their vernacular (maybe call it a reverse mullet next time) is something... read full review
