Overall, it is appreciated for its fantastic food, friendly atmosphere, and special events, making it a popular spot for both lunch and dinner.
So we picked up dinner here last night and had the pesto pasta with chicken and sausage, and it was one of THE best dinners I have ever had in a very long time. It was pretty much perfect and wish I had more to eat last night. Jump forward to tonight, we got takeout from mercato and it was just ok. It wasn't on the same level as the pasta from last night. A true hidden gem.
Farmington Woods Clubhouse Restaurant has some of the best food in the Farmington Valley. Chef Mario (formerly of Cugino's) continues to amaze with delicious meals. Every table received a basket of warm Italian Bread & Chef Mario's famous red (so delicious and spicy) sauce aka one of the most delicious things that you will EVER eat! Have attended several luncheons recently, and everything looks/is delicious. Today I had the Crispy Artichoke Salad with arugula, Parmigiano-Reggiano, blood orange, and honey champagne vinaigrette. Instead of grilled chicken breast, they allowed me to substitute blackened chicken. Unbelievable! They are very accommodating. I do not live in Farmington Woods, but close by. Go for lunch, go for dinner, the food is fantastic!!!!!!
Attended a function in the Club House Restaurant, very comfortable atmosphere, food was good as well. One hint, the entrance is deceiving for anyone not familiar because it's located within a gated community. Almost thought we were at the wrong address until we spoke to the gate Gaurd.
