My first time to New Insight Family Eyecare in Ansonia and Dr. Nguyen. As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable and welcomed.The wait time was great. The staff friendly, and professional.Dr. Nguyen was patient and took her time during the exam and answered my questions and concerns. I chose to use my own frame and Dr. Nguyen was thorough in taking the necessary measurements to ensure a perfect fit. I am very pleased with the overall service provided by both Dr. Nguyen and the great staff at New Insight. 100% satisfied. Thank you.

I was looking for a new eye doctor in the area and found this location online. The office is very clean and organized. The staff were friendly and professional. The two employees who assisted me were great! The doctor was kind and knowledgeable. Everything was explained to me along the way. I'm so happy I found a new eye doctor. This office is great!

Dr. Kelly Thao Nguyen is a family optometric physician at New Insight Family Eyecare in Ansonia. Prior to opening her practice in 2021, she was employed in group private practices in NY and CT. Dr. Nguyen specializes in the treatment and management of ocular disease, routine eye exams, as well as standard and complex contact lens fittings. She offers emergency care for infections, minor abrasions, allergic reactions, and removal of foreign bodies, and is pleased to accept new patients at her office in Ansonia. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Optometric Assoc. and the Connecticut Assoc. of Optometrists. She is bilingual, speaking English as well as being fluent in Vietnamese. She can also communicate using American Sign Language.
