Worst experience I've ever had with a professional. After last year's deadline, I repeatedly asked her office for my tax returns. I kept being told they would be sent to me soon. It wasn't until October that I found out she had filed an extension and not submitted them yet. When she finally did them, they were riddled with mistakes that I asked her to correct. This was not done in a timely manner. She then told me that she filed the taxes, which was not true. When I kept asking her about, all communication stopped. She TOTALLY screwed us. She lied, in a text and email, that she had filed our taxes. We went to another accountant who had to completely redo everything, and fix the mess with the little that was done. We were also fined by the IRS around $3k for not filing, which was news to us as she stated it had been done. We have several formal complaints into the IRS, though slow, will likely result in the redaction of her license. We provided a good bit of documentation proving that she lied perpetually to us. Worst experience ever! Started the process of filing my taxes 6 months ago. No phone calls. No messages. They stated my return was filed but then checked with the Colorado Department of Revenue only to be told that they were not filed. Worst customer experience ever and cannot trust their word that they even filed.
