I can’t say enough good things about Bodyworks. Both Stephane and Alison are amazing. I came in dealing with a complex mix of muscle imbalances, nerve-type symptoms, and ongoing tightness that was affecting my workouts, sleep, and day-to-day life. From the very beginning, he took the time to really listen and understand what was going on instead of just treating symptoms. Between his adjustments, dry needling, and hands-on muscle work, my body has improved significantly. I still have some muscle imbalances I’m working through (which is completely normal with the amount of training I do), but the difference in how my body feels now compared to when I started is huge. The constant tightness, twitching, and discomfort that I was dealing with has dramatically reduced, and I finally feel like my body is moving in the right direction again. What really sets him apart is his expertise, guidance, and patience. He explains what’s happening in a way that makes sense, never rushes appointments, and always makes sure the treatment plan fits what my body needs that day. What an amazing 1st treatment and evaluation. Tonight I saw Dr Roy for the first time. He was so thorough with finding all of my issues regarding my hip and back pain. I have been a Physical Therapist Assistant for 32 years and a massage therapist for 30 years. I have seen every medical professional under the sun for my pain related issues as well as treating myself for years. Dr Roy performed dry needling followed by stretching to about 90% of my body. It was the 1st time a professional evaluated me from head to toe and not just treat me by my complaints. I have never been exposed to dry needling until I moved to Colorado a few years ago. It is a total body treatment that loosens muscles in ways that Massage and stretching can not do alone. Dr Roy’s session made me reevaluate my skills as a massage therapist and how much is overlooked, when someone reports a pain in 1 area of their body and how it could relate to another part of their body. The Dry needling portion of my session was pretty painless but so effective with loosening my muscles so that an effective spinal manipulation could take place. I had immediate pain relief during and after his treatment. I wish I knew about Dry Needling 30 years ago. It would have saved me so much time and energy seeking out effective pain relieving solutions. Thank you Dr. Roy for your knowledge and skills.
