My wife and I have been bringing our dog to Dr. Shiarella at Western Animal for many years now and really like his straightforward style and the crew at the clinic. Recently we had to escort one of our most beloved dogs across the rainbow bridge and could have not asked for a more compassionate and caring environment for our pooch to move on. We will continue to keep coming here for as long as he is still in business.
If you’re looking for an honest, no-BS veterinarian who’s straight to the point, doesn’t push unnecessary treatments, and has very fair pricing, look no further. We’ve been bringing our dog here since 2020 and every visit has been a genuinely great experience. From a broken arm, to cyst removal surgery, to ongoing care for hip pain and incontinence, we’ve always felt informed, respected, and confident in the care our dog receives. Five out of five every single time.
I've seen so many vets over the years and Dr. Shiarella is definitely the best one. The entire staff is caring and kind. He is superbly smart about so many things. Before doing blood work, he could smell that my girl had kidney disease. He's the only vet that does reasonably priced dental work. And I got used to showing up without an appointment -- now I love it! Much gratitude for Western Animal Clinic.
