Glad I went to Rocky Mountain Forest Products over a big name hardware store to get lumber to replace my deck. Everyone I talked to was very knowledgable and help me determine exactly what I needed to complete my project. They even gave me some pencils to use for proper board spacing.RMFP offers both pickup and delivery and I took advantage of both. For pickup they let me sort through some additional planks to ensure all the ones I took were top quality. And for delivery the driver checked the boards after drop-off, found some damage boards, and made sure I was able to get those credited to my account and replaced, so I wasn't paying for anything flawed.
I had a great experience with RMFP when I was gathering quotes to build a pergola. I contacted several lumber yards for quotes on lumber and I ended up going with RMFP because Josh was quick to respond and very informative in helping me determine the correct size lumber to use. The team at the front desk were also great to work with, I stopped by and Kyle showed me around the lumber yard to see the quality. I would highly recommend RMFP if you need lumber to build anything!
A great place to buy cedar. Good inventory and fast service. You pick up your purchase in the yard. You don't have to load it yourself and push it through a store on a cart. Then push it again through a parking lot to your truck and handle one more time.
