This company is the heating and AC company my builder used for my new build home. My blower motor went out twice and has been replaced in less than two years. Being naïve, I kept going back to this company. A week later, Surprise! My blower motor went out again on my AC unit. I yet again called them, they essentially told me they don't have time for me and they are focusing on warranty work only at this time and my 1 year warranty expired. They told me to find someone else to do the work. I found a great company called Peak Home Performance that does what they do. Jeff the Service Rep went through the whole system and gave me a report saying they installed most of the AC and Furnace incorrectly. He asked to see the report that Golden heating has performed when they fixed the blower motor the last two times. "Well guess what, they do not provide this to you". I told him they didn't give me anything. He then told me I should go back to the company that did this install as Golden should stand by this work and cover the labor as my 2 year old unit is covered under warranty. Well I called them and I think their only customer service reps name is Lisa? Anyways she told me they can't do anything because I'm out of warranty. She said that I should have told them about the installation being installed wrong so they could have fixed it under warranty. If you are following. I am at this point like "WTF"? I'm not a technical person at all. I have no idea what I'm looking at or know if it is correct. I'm assuming you installed it correctly. Anyways, I ended the conversation friendly and called Peak Home Performance to come and fix Goldens mistake. $2,700 later. My AC unit is working better than it has have been before! Thanks to Peak Home Performance. Any who, I have 4 other neighbors that had the same issue and they are paying a small fortune to have a real AC company fix Goldens mistakes. So if there is anyone else who feels like they got "got". Please send more reviews like this so we can look into a class action against this company.
I called with an issue and they took care of me over the phone and told me what to do, no tech visit necessary. These folks installed my system over 10 years ago (Amana) and its still keeping us cool! I appreciate the kind assistance and clear explanation.
Until they actually return my call I have no choice but to give them a bad review.... I have left messages all week and tried calling several different times of day and only ever get the paid answering service, which has no connection with the business. I also emailed several days ago and have not received any kind of response. Maybe they are no longer in business? Will update this if they ever call me back.
